From our headquarters in Holmfirth, Huddersfield, our reach now extends to over 125 countries, supplying tens of millions of components every year to customers ranging from start-ups to the world's largest OEMs.

We’re excited to be exhibiting at the Made in Yorkshire Expo 2025, taking place at the one and only Accu Stadium, Huddersfield, on Thursday 16th October 2025. Where could be better for the return of the MIY Expo!

As part of MIY's Exhibitor Spotlight series, a member of the MIY team caught up with our Head of Brand, Matt Ogden, to discuss what drives Accu, what’s new, and what’s next.

1. In one sentence – what does Accu do best?

Accu supplies high-precision engineering components at speed and scale, making it easy for innovators worldwide to get building tomorrow, faster.

2. What’s the driving mission or purpose behind Accu right now?

Accu’s mission is to be the most loved shopping destination for engineers and innovators. We’re focused on making it fast and simple for people to find the components they need, with a smarter and more sustainable approach.

3. What’s been the biggest milestone or achievement for Accu in the past 12 months?

A standout moment for us has been strengthening our partnership with Huddersfield Town AFC, through which the club’s home ground has officially become the Accu Stadium.

For us, this goes beyond sponsorship - it’s a way of deepening our connection with our community and proudly celebrating our Yorkshire roots. As Matt explained during our chat with him:

It’s about embedding ourselves more within the culture of the local community while continuing to grow globally. Huddersfield Town has ambitions to rise back through the leagues — and in our industry, we’re on that same trajectory, growing from disruptor to established global player.

4. Any exciting developments on the horizon?

Lots. We’ve just launched Quick Order — a powerful new tool that makes sourcing and purchasing large, complex bills of materials faster and easier than ever.

Quick Order enables engineers to build and share project lists with a single click, speeding up procurement and simplifying collaboration across teams. Whether you’re designing a prototype in your workshop or ordering for a global production run, Quick Order saves time, reduces hassle and gives customers a smoother experience.

5. Something surprising or little-known about us...

Despite only being founded in 2012, our components already support projects at extraordinary extremes — our screws have been both deep underwater and high up in space.
